Defective products and negligently maintained products cause wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, closed head injury, burns, and permanent, progressive, and painful physical injury. These injuries happen at home, in the workplace, and with rented products, machines, and equipment.
We act immediately to preserve evidence, retain expert witnesses, develop protocols for inspection to determine how our client was victimized by the product or machine. We learn how the product was designed, who modified the product, gather maintenance records and product manuals. We research product and machine recalls and similar accidents. We discover the qualifications of the mechanics involved in maintenance. We determine each company’s commitment to design, maintenance, and safety.
We work hard to figure out how our client was injured and how the product, machine, or equipment caused the injury. We anticipate and work to defeat the inevitable attempt to blame the victim for his or her own injury.
We interview co-workers. We meet with doctors, nurses, and psychologists and social workers to learn about conscious pain and suffering or assess how an injury has changed the victim’s life and the lives of their family. We videotape interviews with doctors, nurses, psychologists and social workers. We take pictures to depict accident scene and injures. We weave these videotapes and photographs into compelling video stories.
